Ruby is the birthstone for July, it is the colour of love, anger, passion and fury. It was believed those who wore rubies were bestowed with good fortune. throughout history rubies were worn by emperors and kings. 

Our flower brooch features seven marquise shaped ruby gemstones set into a 9ct yellow gold setting. The rubies are vibrant pink in colour.

The brooch has a look at the back allowing for this piece to also be worn as a necklace, which is a lovely addition.
