DATE: Victorian, c.1880

A remarkable antique ring and brooch and pendant dating from the late Victorian period. I've never seen one quite like this Swiss army knife of a thing, the head screws in to either a ring mount, or a brooch/pendant back - swipe to see. It's set with a certified Burma no heat ruby in the centre, surrounded by a diamond star burst, and pearl and ruby border around the outside. It's beautifully made, crafted in 18 karat gold with French hallmarks, and dates from circa 1880.
