Estate 13K Tri-Color Gold 0.06cttw Ruby, 0.09ct Sapphire, 0.06cttw H-I/SI1 Diamond Butterfly Pin

Get the bug with this eye-catching Estate butterfly pin! Crafted of 13K tricolor gold, it features two rubies (0.06cttw), one sapphire (0.09ct), and an impressive two diamonds (0.06cttw H-I/SI1) - all combining to form its Art Nouveau-style shape. Measuring nearly 28mm by 14mm and complete with a locking pin, this butterfly is sure to make a statement!

One electronically tested 10-14KT yellow, white, and rose gold combination cast & die struck antique lapel pin with a hand engraved finish. The "Butterfly" Lapel Pin is Circa 1895-1910, the Art Nouveau period. The pin tested as 13K gold with an XRF machine.The pin measures 27.8 mm wig tip to wing tip, and 13.6 mm top to bottom. The 4 wing segments as well as the body are attatched by use of a wire framework on the reverse side. The wings are Yellow and Rose gold, with the body being Rose gold and the eyes White gold. The wings have Old Mine cut Diamonds and and natural Rubies, all bright set with applied back mounting pieces. The body has a natural Sapphire in a bezel mounting. The clasp has been replaced with an early swivel safety closure. Condition is excellent.

One bezel set rectangular cushion modified mixed cut natural blue sapphire, measuring 2.85 x 2.25 x 1.46mm, (depth est.) approximate weight of 0.09ct., clarity is eye clean, medium light, moderately strong, blue color, (GIA B 4/4), cut is very good.
